Some people think they have the best dad in the world. I think there are a lot of great dads, but mine pretty much beats them all! I want to share one of the amazing things my dad has done. When I was in college (the first time) I had come home for the weekend and left late Sunday night to head back to Rexburg. As I was about to depart we realized I had a headlight out. Me being the brat that I am threw a temper tantrum (because it just couldn't be fixed or something lame!) The next morning I look out in the parking lot to see my father changing my light. He drove 4 1/2 hours (ONE WAY) to fix something that takes less than five minutes. He told me "it was his job as a father to make sure we are safe" and "I needed an excuse to listen to my book on tape". Seriously...My dad is THE BEST. I try not be such a big brat to him (I haven't mastered the grown up phase of life yet) but I always see the amazing things he is willing to do for his family! Thanks dad, I love you!!! Happy Birthday!
