Cute Kids

When I was in Cache Valley a few weeks ago not only did I get to visit temple grounds, but I got to tend my old roommate's kids. They are just adorable and what is better entertainment than me taking them to the park twenty times a day!

Eating wood chips is actually great for the digestive tract!

What I love about little kids is they actually think it is crazy funny that you are upside down. They have no concept that we don't see things the same as them.

Also, they think we are in shock when there head pops out of a tunnel hole...how in the world did they get there?!

I love this picture because of the mountains in the back ground and because this little boy dressed himself. Shirt on backwards, shorts twisted and pockets hanging out. No time to get ready when there are sand boxes to play in and obstacle courses to check out!

Logan Temple

A few weeks ago I was in Cache Valley. I love going to temple grounds and taking pictures of all the flowers. When I got to the temple it just happened to be the day where they had nothing but a few dying tulips. It was transition day where all the old flowers had been dug up and no new ones had been planted. There is still beauty even if no flowers exist.

Mr. Institute now Mr. Missionary

Elder Aaron Kirkham is leaving for the Washington DC mission tomorrow. This young man gave up a four year full ride scholarship in institute to serve a mission. (I bet the scholarship is still good when he comes back!)
What will make Aaron the best missionary ever? Here are the top 10 reasons: 1.He can rock the canary yellow like a bright glow of gospel light. 2.He builds tree houses like he will build the gospel in distant government lands. 3.He can dance to anything, just like he will dance his way into the hearts of those he teaches. 4.He is excellent at public speech, and can hold a conversation with Obama himself. 5. He's a good listener and will hear the cries of bums and hot dog cart boys who are looking for something more. 6.He is an excellent repeller and will ease his way down the dark valleys of despair easing hope into hearts and minds. 7.He is an excellent brick layer and will lay the bricks of truth and knowledge in investigators hearts. 8. He is an eagle scout, always prepared, even if it means eating green jello and mayonnaise. 9. He is an excellent bike rider and will ride to every open door and alley (even bums will be taught) 10. He is the kindest kid on the face of the planet and will kindly listen to some very annoying companions...and still love them!

I tried to be as dramatic as possible, but we sure will miss you Aaron! Keep the faith, preach the gospel and love the journey ahead!
