Something valuable I have learned in life is if you want something done, just do it yourself! In the downstairs bathroom the sink has become progressively slower and slower to drain with a lot of backing up. I thought about calling the landlord, where I would have gotten the response "you should just be happy to have water". Given the fact that they haven't yet nor will they ever fix the washer, lack of water temperature control or mailbox this was just one more disappointment to add to the list. So I took matters into my own hands. I wore a bathrobe to protect my clothes, goggles and latex free gloves and took apart the drain. I then sacrificed one of my hangers and got to work digging and this is what came out. Don't look if you have a weak stomach because you will want to vomit!
Disgusting!!!! But now the water flows through like a fountain at the Bellagio!
